The Party to End all Parties!
Every now and again, I get a massive reminder about why I have Cheeky and why I’m doing these Team Cooking events. I mean they’re hard work to set up, take untold logistics to get right, including the managing of multiple chefs at the one event and for this one…set up for 250 people to cook in an undercover car park! No sink, one tap, no kitchen…just slabs of concrete.
When we first saw the location with the event organisers, Verve Creative, we were a bit worried as the space was quite tight but somehow (as always) it all came together.

But the absolute stand out for me was the group themselves. This was the most responsive group I’ve had in ages – and they didn’t even have any alcohol…which is kind of unusual for Cheeky events! They hollered, yelled, danced, happily bribed me as the judge of the Master Cheeky Chef Challenge, and were crazily, wonderfully, the noisiest bunch of people. Amongst all that, they still managed to cook a massive and impressive feast. This client knows how to party, get the job done and help each other out. True Cheeky Spirit!

At this busy time of year, it’s very rewarding to be reminded about the “WHY” of Cheeky – we truly do make people smile – and that makes me really proud of Cheeky and the entire Cheeky team.
